Sonja Stubbs-Mills
Sonja, a dedicated and accomplished Senior Consultant at Growth Coaching International, is a seasoned expert in coaching and leadership development. With a comprehensive skill set that spans educational leadership development, staff coaching, training, and mentoring, she has become a driving force in enhancing the capabilities of educational communities and organisations. Sonja's educational journey includes a Bachelor of Arts with a Graduate Diploma in Education from Macquarie University. She is currently well underway in pursuing a Master of Business Psychology at the University of Newcastle.
Sonja's professional development showcases her commitment to excellence, including being an accredited Coach/ Mentor at Practitioner level by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and a Trained Coach through Growth Coaching International. With a rich work history, Sonja has played pivotal roles in the NSW Department of Education, where she served as a secondary school leader, Professional Support Officer in the Reform and External Relations Directorate and Leadership Advisor in the School Leadership Institute (SLI). Her standout contributions to the design and delivery of leadership development programs, include the first online, self-paced, state-wide induction program for middle leaders, and the SLI FASTstream program. Additionally, her roles in curriculum advisory positions demonstrate her versatility in driving educational excellence and inclusivity.
