Peter Glendenning
Peter has an extensive experience of working in Western Australian public schools through diverse roles as a Director, Principal Advisor and Principal. He has a deep understanding of the complex and dynamic environments of schools and of the wide variety of communities they work within, and significant experience in the leadership of teaching and educational development.
His ability to shape and manage strategy is demonstrated by his leadership style developed through successful experiences across a diverse range of settings. This has led to Peter being officially recognized for success. His professional focus has been on the development of leadership capacity for school leaders using successful evidence-based practice. Peter has a strong commitment to the development of the capacity and capability of leaders and to build upon people’s talents, attributes, and skills.
Recent projects in Peters career include presentations to national and international forums on Leadership Development including Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership advisory forums, and the World Educational Leadership Symposium in Switzerland. He has also been responsible for the design and delivery of leadership development in the areas of building personal leadership, school improvement, newly appointed leaders, aspirant leaders, and well-being- all within the in the education sector.
