Dr Jenny Wajsenberg
Jenny has extensive experience as a coach, consultant, facilitator and presenter. She has worked in education for over four decades, most recently as a consultant to the New York Department of Education. Her background includes a career in the Victorian Independent and Department of Education and Training sectors as a Teacher, a Leader and a Principal, as well as several years’ experience in International Education, both within Australia and abroad at School and Higher Education levels.
Since moving to coaching and educational management, Jenny has worked as a consultant and coach - supporting, developing and inspiring school and system leaders, leadership teams and teachers throughout Australia. She was senior project manager with Education Services Australia and worked with AITSL on developing the national Professional Standards, before moving into independent consultancy.
Jenny is passionate about education and believes that educators are in a pivotal position to influence and model learning, growth and self-reflection for students. She is passionate about the difference coaching can make in school transformation and delights in supporting others develop their potential through adopting a growth mindset.
Jenny has a BA, Dip Ed and PhD from the University of Melbourne. She is an Accredited Coach with Growth Coaching International, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, qualified social worker, and an accredited practitioner of the GENOS Emotional Intelligence Survey psychometric tool. Jenny is also an accredited Mediator, currently a panel member of the Victorian Independent Office for School Dispute Resolution.
